Game smart for that all-important competitive edge alongside immersive RGB lighting in over 16.8 million colours.
Featuring numerous lighting effects on both the sides and front face of the keyboard, the Thermaltake Level 20 can be synced using TT RGB PLUS software to match the rest of your Thermaltake products for incredible colour coordination.
you want to look at what you are supposed to be getting but in more depth.
So, the first thing to start with is how precise and accurate the feedback is when it comes to typing.
When using this keyboard, you want to make sure it is responsive to when it comes to gaming and it being up to speed.
The keyboard has a 2mm thick aluminium top plate to be able to give it more strength and durability,
you want something to withstand the pressure you apply to the keyboard.
The aluminium top plate is a rare type of protection because if anything were to happen to the keyboard, it would still work.
It is an RGB keyboard, so expect a lot of colours and effects throughout.
It houses up 16.8 million colours which are pretty standard in an RGB gaming keyboard; it does come with effects as well which you can change through the Thermaltake app that is provided on their website for you to download and use.
It’s easy to use and has more effects than some other gaming keyboards.
You can also personalise the keyboard with whatever effect and colours you want, or if you don’t want to use effects you can switch them off and have a static keyboard, it’s really up to you.
The keyboard has control buttons on the top right-hand corner; these controls are volume, mute, skip, play & pause.
For easier gaming. For example, if you have headphones on, but they don’t come with a volume rocker, and you can’t access the volume on the computer,
then all you have to do is the scroll wheel up or down to choose the volume.
It’s also beneficial when it comes to listening to music as well because all you need to do is press one of the buttons.
this keyboard is accompanied with audio and USB plug-in. On the back of the keyboard, audio and USB has been placed perfectly for convenient connecting and will stop you from having uninterrupted gameplay.
So instead of plugging your audio in for instance,
it might make it a lot easier to put in the back of the keyboard so that there wouldn’t be any wires running across you while you are gaming.
I have mentioned that the keyboard does come with an app. The app is compatible with whatever device you are using,
The apps unique features such as voice-controlled AI, virtual game controller and virtual keyboard; these functions are on the phone version of the app.
The keycaps were the first thing I took note of and to be honest, just looking at them they screamed quality, they felt pleasant to touch and moulded nicely with my fingers, and didn’t feel cheap they were just perfect.
It’s something everything everyone wants to hear, and it’s a good thing because you are just going to want this keyboard when it comes to gaming.
The feel of it is just perfect; it’s what you are going to need for long hours of gaming.
I will throw in here that the pricing is £140, which isn’t a bad price, especially if you are a gamer and you spend a considerable amount of time gaming.
It’s responsive and quick, that’s all down to the anti-ghosting which is going to be picking up all the keys that will be all used at once.
Again, that’s 100% what you’ll want.
Disappointed that it doesn’t come with a wrist rest because it would make it more comfortable for your wrists when they start to tire out.
If your wrist does tire out after a long time you are going to want somewhere to place them to help you carry on gameplay.
But it’s not a massive worry because if there were a wrist rest, it would have taken away the RGB part located around the outside of the keyboard.
I tested out the aluminium body to see if there was any flex, but there was none, and that’s the type of quality that keyboards need if you don’t want them to get damaged.
The Aluminum does feel like it’s high quality, and it’s reliable.
I also tested the app which comes with the keyboard which you can find on Thermaltake’s website, and only takes about 5 minutes to install, after that it’s up to you with what you want to do with it such as playing about with the effects.
The RGB colours on this keyboard are bold, but they don’t distract you like some keyboards do with their RGB.
I played CS: GO and PUBG, throughout the whole time, there wasn’t a moment I became distracted, this left me to have a great gaming experience, the only time you will ever honestly notice the colours sticking out to you is when you look down, but that’s it.
Back to talking about the app, it’s excellent, there’s plenty of effects to choose from along with having your colours throughout, some people prefer static, and some prefer effects, either way, the RGB looks excellent.
When it came down to gaming, it was just so easy. I had so much control due to the keycaps moulding to my fingers.
I just had clean and smooth gameplay. The keyboard is brilliant, everything about I like, I played on a keyboard similar to this keyboard and was the same price, but I like this keyboard a bit more.
I do 100% recommend you buy this, especially if you want something to use throughout extended gameplay.
